It all started with music 2000 for the playstation, anyone remember that?! Mispent youth consisting of coming home from school half baked from afternoon sessions with friends, to sit in my darkened room lit only by the flickering light of my 80's tele whilst it banged out what I thought was the best tune in the world ever.
Ever since then Ive loved making music. I'd literally spend hours an hours avoiding homework and trying to find that next cool sound or sample that would fit into my "classic" track i'd just made. Anyway that was when I was 13, after that I discovered sex, drugs and clubs, producing suffered a little...
I first started Djing around 15 years old, buying my first "babies" from a pal of mine for £150, complete with 26 records and a set of cans with only one side working. Again, hours spent trying to beatmatch and come up with that all elusive perfect mix. Three months down the line we start up our own night in a local centre called "TILT", ahh the memories, gatecrashed by the mayor because of the noise, (He still owes us 3quid for entry), stopped by police and investigated by fire department dodgy electrics, the fun never stopped.
Fast forward 3 years an im in manchester on a stupidly expensive sound engineering course costing 7 grand, this by the way after id dropped out of uni the previous year. I meet a fellow DJ and dance music lover called andrew kearns at uni, we spend most after hour sessions trying to impress what young filles we'd managed to entice back to our halls with our mediocre bedroom DJ skills. After that we moved into a house just out of the centre of manchester with THE best basement for parties, the weirdo project is born...
Consisting of a few DJ mates, we'd kit out the basement in whatever equipment we cud blag, ring my laughing gas buddies whos set up shop near the fridge, and party on.
Im now back in appleby, small town in cumbria, england. Im making music on ableton live and also "trying" to DJ with it aswell.
So thats me, an avid music fan. I make tunes for me because I like to do it. Not for profit or recognition, although a little cash wouldnt go a miss... If you like my stuff then please feel free to write a little comment, I'd love to hear the feedback and any possible tips, i mean im no pro at all and any help is always appreciated.
One last word, top draw to FUZZ for this site, really good, about time someone catered for underground, unsigned and unheard of artists.
peace and fucking.

I think this will be the future direction that music takes in the web-based era, but no-one, no-one, knows where it will all end up. I hope you participate in this great adventure and help to define the objectives of truly independent artists.
